Personal history:
The Son of Apollo came to be as he saw a mortal woman dance. She praised the god Apollo and his lyre so dearly, so sweetly, he fell, and soon a child was made. Apollo left soon after though, as he didn't care for the child, and the magic that he saw in her dance didn't stay past just that, her dance. Raised by his human mother, it was a long time before Apollo showed any acknowledgement of his son again. Around age 5, Apollo's curiosity got the better of him and he gazed down at him, his mother's dancing again inticing his attention. Then he noticed his son's curse. Like himself, he couldn't lie. Apollo has followed his son's life periodically from then on, intrigued that another could be so bound. Veritas grew up in a world of lies, and soon he knew he had to move on. At age twelve, he decided to travel. He left his mother, though he loved her, and tried to find a place where he could be himself, where no one would use him for his curse. He hasn't been as fortunate as to find his dream.
Personality (a few sentences):
Very suspicious of others, he wishes to be the best person he can be. The many people in his life who have used him has him suspicious of friendships and relationships, though his heart cries for them daily. He makes himself be somewhat outgoing, he has a tendancy to turn away abruptly as his fears of mistreatment get the better of him.
